 Lebanon County Library System Richland
The mission of the library is to serve all people in Richland Borough, Millcreek Township and the surrounding areas; to supplement and enhance the education of our children; to offer access to information for research and for the stimulation of intellectual growth and provide enjoyment to all citizens through books, periodicals and other media.
The first library in Richland opened in 1886 and was housed in the old Richland Grammar School.
Since 1969, circulation and requests for information increased dramatically and in 1990-1991 the most recent renovation and expansion was finished; tripling the size of the library.
