		Millstone 4-H Camp is nestled in the tall pines of the Sandhills near Ellerbe, NC about 30 miles south of Southern Pines.
		Millstone offers traditional camping programs for youth ages 5 to 19 and is open to everyone, whether they are involved in 4-H or not.
		A part of Millstone 4-H Camp is dedicated to a horseback riding facility, which includes six barns with 120 stalls and four riding rings.

		Millstone was briefly the county seat of Somerset County until the British burned it to the ground during the American Revolutionary War.
		Millstone was briefly connected to the Pennsylvania Railroad when the Mercer and Somerset Railway was extended to the town in the 1870s and connected via a bridge across the Millstone River to the Pennsylvania Railroad's Millstone and New Brunswick Railroad, but that arrangement did not last into the 1880s.
