Reyes will undergo an MRI after the swelling subsides, but the fear is that he may have torn the ACL in the knee.

Major League Soccer's disciplinary committee said Friday that the fine was imposed after Reyes had been warned for another reckless tackle in July against the Columbus Crew.

Reyes was issued a yellow card for a challenge on Galaxy midfielder Marcelo Saragosa in the 32nd minute of the game.
The sanction was imposed as a result of the Committee having previously warned Reyes of a play stemming from a similarly reckless tackle he committed on July 10 against the Columbus Crew.
