		The Brewers were part of the American League from their creation as an expansion club in 1969 through the 1997 season, after which they switched to the National League.
		On November 2, 1974, the Brewers orchestrated a trade that brought one of the most beloved Braves back to Milwaukee, sending outfielder Dave May and a player to be named later (minor league pitcher Roger Alexander) to Atlanta for Hank Aaron.
		During the Brewers' "Sausage Race", in which four contestants wearing sausage costumes have a foot race on the field at the bottom of the sixth inning, Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Randall Simon leaned over the dugout railing and bopped college student/sausage Mandy Block with a bat, unintentionally knocking her to the ground.
