	North American GAA
		Dave Olsen, of the Milwaukee Hurling Club, received one of the GAA's President's Awards presented at a banquet at Croke Park on Saturday April 1st.
		Mr Olsen was the driving force behind the development of hurling in the predominantly American-born club, and has proven the point that hurling has plenty of room for growth regardless of Irish emigration trends.

		But in the MHC they’ve thrown out the old way of doing things and they are able to boast that they are the only coed club in the country but in all likelihood they’re probably the only coed hurling club in the world.
		MHC has also had a large social element which has resulted in several members finding their soul mates at the pitch and going on to get married and raise families of their own.
