The Minimoog is a monophonic analog synthesizer, invented by Robert Moog.
The Minimoog had four sound sources: three voltage controlled oscillators with switchable waveforms, one of which was normally assigned as the low frequency oscillator, and a noise generator.
It could be played using its in-built keyboard, equipped with a modulation wheel and vibrato wheel, or by sending it external pitch and trigger voltage signals.

Encyclopedia of Electronic Music - reviews
I must admit that with the announced album of traditional Berlin School Electronic Music I was a bit fearful that it will be a complete copy of 70’s Tangerine Dream, but thankfully this is not the case.
Although Klaus' trademark minimoog solos are not very frequent here and not so aggressive (in comparison with, say, "Dosburg Online" where he goes absolutely mad with soloing), anyone who thinks of Electronic Music as of the aimless wallpaper muzak that couldn't cut through soft butter should listen to this.

Dave, if you read this, thanks for your last letter that you mailed to me in which you said "The music spirit may go to sleep from time to time but never dies!" I believe it.
On the 1979 BBC 'Rock Goes To College' broadcast, Dave is using a Rev2 Prophet V, along with a Minimoog, Hammond L122 organ, and Yamaha CP-70 Electric Grand.
The pulsing effect on 'Sahara Of Snow' is the Prophet, and on the thick chord pads on 'Forever Until Sunday' Dave's using one hand on the Hammond and the other on the Prophet, blending both sounds together.
