		Minister Mentor is a cabinet position created by the Singapore government in 2004 as part of a leadership transition.
		The first and current Minister Mentor of Singapore is Lee Kuan Yew.
		The creation of the position of Minister Mentor was intended as a way of keeping Lee Kuan Yew in the cabinet, after his successor Goh Chok Tong handed over the Prime Minister post to Lee Hsien Loong.
