 Speed Limits In The Republic Of Ireland Go Metric
Minister of State, John Spellar, MP, announced, today, the erection of new signs on main roads entering Northern Ireland from the Republic of Ireland to inform drivers that speed limits, in Northern Ireland are in miles per hour.
New metric road signs will be in place for 20 January, in the Republic of Ireland, to inform motorists, travelling over the border from Northern Ireland, that the speed limit is in kilometres.

 Chick Lit Forum - cecilia ahern
Ceclia Ahern is a celebrity author, the daughter of the Irish prime minister, which most people in Ireland believe helped her become published, and then because of all the surrounding publicity, helped her sell loads of books.
I must have my head in the clouds a bit, as i didn;t know who Cecilia Ahern was or who her father is! I've also read Where Rainbows End, and i'd agree it's a bit predictable, but i did enjoy it and stayed awake until the early hours engrossed.
I was relunctant to read PS I Love You as i had read the plot and thought that it might be a bit of a depressing subject after having recently lost my dad, but i eventually gave in and i'm glad i did as it is one of the best books i have ever read.
