The glacial geology surrounding Minnehaha Creek near Wooddale Park is mainly dominated by the end moraine.
The chloride is a lot lower than it should be which is not good, the suspended solids are much lower than the standard which is most likely good and finally the fecal coliform is five times what the standard is. That is horrible and disgusting, this is very unfit drinking water.
The land off the left bank has been put to good use though with the park, tennis court and basketball court, all of which are used frequently during the summer.
