In addition, there are subgroups of material relating to the construction of Orchestra Hall in 1973-74; extensive documentation of tours conducted by the orchestra throughout the United States and the world (the Orchestra has been called the "Orchestra on Wheels"); and numerous special events including anniversary celebrations, Metropolitan Opera appearances, Sommerfest, and Cabaret Pops.
