Minnesota State Highway 57 is a highway in the state of Minnesota.
The road extends from the southern terminus at U.S. Highway 14 in Kasson, Minnesota north to U.S. Highway 52 near Hader.
Highway 57 was the shortest route on the 1920 Minnesota highway plan, then only three miles in length between Kasson and Mantorville.

Unpublished manuscript, MHS archives.  For future reference, this manuscript possesses a copy of the Morrell and Nichols overall development plan which succeeded the Johnston/Nelson/Nichols plan of 1944.  The two are quite similar and can be compared by using an original colored copy of the latter in the Charles Orr papers, also at the MHS archives.

In just a few miles, many of the state's famous "10,000 lakes" tumble 1,700 feet over volcanic rock billions of years old from the highest point in the Sawtooth Mountains to the lowest point (Lake Superior).
Turn left (west) on County Road 8 and proceed 5.7 miles to a junction with County Roads 27 and 57.
From the summit, there are great views of the Sawtooth Mountains to the southeast and the Misquah Hills to the north (although on our climb, a thick fog drifted in and we had to hike down to get out of it).

 The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Minnesota - Highway Division
The pilot program includes eleven AGC of Minnesota contractors; MN/DOT hopes to have a complete automated system available to all customers by June, 2003.

ROCHESTER, Minn.- (1:30 p.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation expects to reopen Highway 57 on the north side of Wanamingo by Thursday afternoon, June 27.
The highway has been closed since Friday last week after flooding washed away segments of the road approaching the bridge over the Zumbro River.
Mn/DOT maintenance crews have repaired the roadway, but are giving the hot asphalt surface time to cool before reopening the road to traffic.
