The Minnesota Swarm have traded Darryl Gibson and their second round selection in the 2007 Entry Draft to the Toronto Rock in exchange for their first round selection in the 2008 Entry Draft and their second round selection in the 2006 Entry Draft.
Ross, 22 (5/12/83), was selected by Minnesota in the fifth round (44th overall) of the 2004 NLL Entry Draft.
The left-handed defender was originally acquired by the Swarm in a trade last June with the Arizona Sting along with forward Kasey Beirnes in exchange for a first-round draft pick in the 2006 and 2007 NLL Entry Draft.

Perkins is scheduled to make his NLL debut when the Swarm hosts the Chicago Shamrox on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m.
Perkins graduated from Pepperdine University (Seaver College) with a major in broadcasting and will be working out with O'Neill and Swarm players this month to help him prepare for the upcoming season.
