	Minus world - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		The Minus World or Minus World trick is a well-known glitch found in the popular Nintendo game Super Mario Bros. While difficult to do at first, once mastered, the player is rewarded by a never-ending underwater level.
		UniSystem version (the arcade version) of the game, which was released in 1986 (a year after the NES release), developers blocked access to the Minus World by simply removing the section of bricks that was required to perform it.
		The middle pipe leads to World 5-1, which is interesting in itself since World 5 is not one of the choices when the warp zone is accessed normally (the three pipes normally lead to worlds 4, 3, and 2).

		I remember a looooong time ago, when I was over my friend's house, he, his brother, and several of his friends were playing Super Mario Bros. One of his brothers friends challenged me to a SMB challenge to see who knew the most tricks and quirks for this game.
		He had several awesome tricks under his sleeve, like moonwalking, getting hundreds of lives in World Three off of that koopa on the stairs, and using the then-still-hidden World 4 warp to Level Eight.
		But, the one thing that really blew me away was when he got to the Minus World.

		It's actually World 36-1 (hex) but the character 36 (hex) is represented by a blank space in Mario so it appears as World -1.
		However in the original NES version, the two outside pipes will take you to World -1, and the middle pipe will take you to World 5.
		It is actually the same Warp Zone the one at the end of World 4-2, it's just that the two outer pipes are not present in World 4-2.

		It seems that everyone knows about the minus world, but not many people have actually seen it.
		All you have to do in order to moonwalk is go to world 4-2 as small Mario, there is a place near th beginning where you can get a mushroom while you are in an area that only small Mario can get into.
		One is in World 3-1 and the other is in World 7-2 (I think).
