Minuteman Project - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Minuteman Project Civil Defense Corps was started in April 2005 by a group of American citizens to deter illegal crossings of the United States–Mexico border.
On April 6, 2005, three Minuteman Project volunteers convinced a 25-year-old illegal alien to hold a T-shirt and pose for a photograph and a video with one of the volunteers.
The Minuteman Project is not simply about national security and terrorism it is about a deep-rooted concern for an evershifting ethnocultural shift in the American population."[2] The HRCC has been present along the U.S./CaliforniaMexico border since the arrival of the California Minutemen (A division of Friends of the Border Patrol).

The Minuteman Project   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-09-11)
The Minuteman Project is a grassroots effort to bring Americans to the defense of their homeland, similar to the way the original Minutemen from Massachusetts (and other U. S. colonies) did in the late 1700s.  Like them, we want to bring to this effort only what few personal possessions we can carry...plus our heart, mind and spirit.
The Minuteman Project is not a chartered organization with official membership or corporate officers.  It is not a militia, or a band of vigilantes, and literally has no organizational structure.
The Minuteman Project is a state of mind representing Americans with mutual concerns about the systematic and deliberate dismantling of a once cohesive nation whose imminent future is literally in a state of emergency.
