Basically, Misery Signals are a band who like to test the perimeters of what is expected in 2006 and in turn, through a somewhat serpentine approach, the group escape much of the standard confines and pigeonholing.
In the end, Misery Signals prove that even metalcore can be massive, well in scope at least, and that alone makes "Mirrors" worthy of a listen.

The "more" is they have flawlessly blended an emotional touch into their sound that allows them freely to fluate from the intensity of hardcore, to the smoothe and relieving sounds of a somewhat emotional rock sound to calm the listener before the storm.
It's kind of along the lines of what would be if Coheed and Cambria were to break up and their singer joined forces with the likes of A Static Lullaby's vocalist to sing along with music writen by Misery Signals and co-writen by Dry Kill Logic and Staind.
