Mission Module - International Space Station Assembly Zvezda
This fourth mission dedicated to the ISS Program (ISS 2A.2a) was designed to prepare the station for the next station module, the Russian-built Zvezda service module, scheduled for launch in mid July from Baikonur.
During the mission’s only spacewalk, the initial pieces of a Russian cargo crane Strela ("Arrow") and a U.S. crane were attached to the outside of the station during a seven hour, 55 minute spacewalk.
The next mission to the ISS, STS-106/2A.2b, is scheduled for September and will see astronauts and cosmonauts continue to prepare the station for the arrival of its first houseguests — the Expedition One crew of William Shepherd, Yuri Gidzenko and Sergei Krikalev.

`Transit Village' Proposed For Mission BART Station
The BART station, used by 9,000 people daily, is a magnet for commuters and less-savory types who engage in petty crime and drug dealing.
``Mission Street is not what it was when it was known as the Miracle Mile,'' said Medina.
Although Medina doesn't blame BART solely for the neighborhood's decline, he said, ``it's only appropriate that through government transportation dollars, the Mission could be enhanced, to bring it back to what it used to be,'' he said.

We need additional power saw to supply wood for construction works outside of the Mission Station, since the demand for wood is very high at the moment.
As we gather in the spirit of oneness to take stock/Accounts of the Mission Station Maintenance Ministry financial activities for the past year and to prepare ourselves for another year, we should give praises to our Almighty God for His blessing and guidance for bringing us thus far.

Reverend L.E.Threlkeld's London Missionary Society Belmont Mission Station
I knew that this was not correct even though the mission station’s land grant extended to include the Warners Bay area across to the ocean and down to the entrance at Reid’s Mistake.
Knowing this I thought I had better get a more accurate location of the Mission Station house.
I think that the mission house must have been at this location with commanding views over the Lake and across the Belmont area that no doubt was cultivated from the stream shown in the plan.

Arctic: NY HERRNHUT I NUUK 1733-2003: MISSION STATION, RÆVEFARM, EMBEDSBOLIG, MUSEUM, UNIVERSITET (NEW HERRNHUT IN NUUK 1733-2003: MISSION STATION, FOX FARM, OFFICIAL RESIDENCE, MUSEUM, UNIVERSITY)
Another interesting feature to which the authors draw attention is the internationalism of the Moravian mission in contrast to the provincialism of the Danish mission.
The purpose of the authors is twofold: to tell the story of the original Moravian building at New Herrnhut and, through this, to narrate the story of Nuuk's metamorphosis from an isolated outpost (almost the end of the world) to the modern university city of today.
This division had a consequence: the Moravian Greenlanders lived a more traditional life, and it was among them that the so-called "Greenlandic soul" was to be found when the awakening of national, Romantic feelings in Greenland gave rise to collections of myths and sagas.

Spaceflight Now | Space Station Mission Report | Mission Status Center
After enjoying a brief rest period while the International Space Station was flying through orbital darkness, the spacewalkers are resuming activities to remove one of the Japanese Micro-Particles Capture and Space Environment Exposure Device (MPAC-SEED) material experiments and moving another to a different bracket on the Zvezda module's hull to continue its exposure.
The to-do list for this spacewalk, the 52nd in the life of the space station and 27th to originate from the orbiting lab, is quite extensive with many chores outside the Russian segment of the complex.
The International Space Station will be unoccupied for several hours today as the two residents step outside for a spacewalk to work on external experiments and equipment.

Mission Atlantis: Shuttle Docks with Space Station
The work is to begin early Thursday when Whitson and Atlantis mission specialist Sandy Magnus will operate the station's robot arm to pluck the S1 truss from Atlantis' cargo bay and move it up against the S-Zero (S0) truss that was attached to the top of the Destiny module earlier this year.
At that point the way will be clear for Atlantis spacewalkers Dave Wolf and Piers Sellers to depart the station's Quest airlock and begin the first of three 6.5-hour extravehicular activities planned for the next week to finish making the mechanical, electrical and fluid connections between the new truss and the rest of the station.
The crews are happy to be flying again and certainly I know the station crew is happy to see their visitors show up at their door," said lead flight director Phil Engelauf.

Read more about the early history of the Kerikeri Mission Station (Kemp House) and the Stone Store: Kerikeri: A Pocket Parramatta.
Visitors to the Kerikeri Mission House (Kemp House) often ask where the herb garden was, assuming that herbs from the garden were commonly used for domestic medicine in the early to mid 1800s.
Designed by Wesleyan missionary John Hobbs and built by an ex-convict stonemason from New South Wales, the Store was meant to house New Zealand mission supplies and large quantities of wheat from the mission farm at Te Waimate.
