Mission UK Mission UK (in the US) and the Mission (in the UK) is a Gothic rock band formed in 1986 by Wayne Hussey[?] and Craig Adams[?] (both of Sisters of Mercy), soon adding Mick Brown[?] (of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry[?]) and Simon Hinkler[?] (of Artery[?]). They called themselves "the Mission", but had to change it to "Mission UK" for their American releases.
