The Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers Ram Tough 200 (was this some kind of attempt to vie for the title of longest race name?) at Gateway International Raceway near St. Louis on Saturday night could have very well been called the Brendan Gaughan/Ted Musgrave Show.
Points leader Travis Kvapil inherited a pole starting position thanks to weather that cancelled qualifying on Friday, but he failed to lead a lap, as he was passed by Musgrave on lap one.
Gaughan won out in the end, claiming his third win of the season and proving that his win in the GNC 200 at the Milwaukee Mile wasn't a fluke, he really could win somewhere other than Texas Motor Speedway.
