	List of Missouri highways - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		State highways in Missouri were first designated in 1922 and Missouri's system was used (along with Wisconsin's) as a plan for the entire U.S. Highway System which was created in 1926.
		Missouri has also changed highway designations with a US highway or an interstate with the same number is designated through the state (Missouri State Highway 40 was redesignated Missouri State Highway 14 to avoid duplicating numbers with U.S. Highway 40 which also passes through the state).
		State highways in Missouri are the responsibility of the Missouri Department of Transportation.

	U.S. Route 62 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		U.S. Route 62 runs with U.S. Highway 71 from Fayetteville to Rogers, U.S. Highway 412 from Alpena to Imboden, U.S. Highway 63 from Hardy to Imboden, U.S. Highway 65 from Bear Creek Springs to south of Harrison, and U.S. Highway 67 from Pocahontas to Corning.
		The highway turns to the southeast and intersects New York State Route 425, before crossing the Erie Canal and exiting Niagara County and entering Erie County.
		Passing the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90), US 62 turns southwest at the Hamburg, but then assumes a more southerly direction as it passes through the Gowanda, crossing Cattaraugus Creek to leave Erie County and to enter Cattaraugus County.

		Three winter storms brought heavy snow to southern Missouri with one of the snowstorms bringing a white Christmas to central, east central and northeastern sections of the state.
		The tornadoes were confined to southwestern Missouri with preliminary damage survey reports indicating that 6 tornadoes touched down in Newton, Jasper, Barton, Barry, Lawrence, Cedar, Polk, Hickory and Wright counties.
		Between January and March in Missouri, the average precipitation varies from around 4 inches in the northwest corner to nearly a foot in the bootheel.

	Routes 1 thru 20
		City US-12 was then Northwest Highway, east of Des Plaines, to Foster, Foster east to lake Shore Drive, and then to South Parkway, and Stoney Island to 95th Street.
		In the Suburban Chicago area this is called Northwest Highway due to its beeline northwest from Chicago, and due to the parallel Chicago and NorthWestern Railroad (Now Union Pacific).
