I always thought "Mister Sinister" (the stupidest code name in comics) was a really lame lame lame character that brought down the entire X franchise.
Claremont went on to say that Sinister was created to reflect the types of characters that 13 year old wannabe comic artists were sending to marvel at that time, in hopes of getting a job with marvel one day.
So Sinister was actualy a briliant mutant boy, who was over a 100 years old, but who had stopped aging at the age of 13.
