 mitcham
Carl Mitcham argues that the philosophy of technology must engage in the engineering discourse while remaining open to the humanities perspective so that the complexity of the technology and the cacophony of the arguments about technology remain intelligible.
Mitcham introduces his subject by unpacking the two different meanings of "technology of philosophy." The "of" can be seen as a subjective genitive or an objective genitive; as technology's philosophy (subjective genitive) or as the philosophy that (also) deals with technology (objective genitive).
Quite simply, Mitcham, through distinguished thinkers in all ages, bumps up against the same problem "the good that I would do, I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do." (Romans 8:19) As reflected by the thinkers in part one, technology is both divine and demonic.

 Mitcham are crowned British champions
Mitcham were crowned British champions this Sunday ending an impressive 2002/2003 Premiership season unbeaten, as they proved simply too strong for the Invicta, in a game that finished with a convincing 20 — 14 Mitcham victory.
Mitcham soon had the opportunity to pull back even once again as Dave Synott found himself at the penalty spot after referee had penalised Invicta defender James McDonald for colliding with Sam Wells as he being run backwards, and it was difficult not to have sympathy with the Mcdonald who seemed to have little alternative.
Mitcham went into a 3 goal lead as a defensive error left Sam Wells free under the basket and thanks to a John Perrot free pass goal and a Steve Green goal from a clever fake in the back court extended Mitcham's lead to 15 - 10 as Mitcham began to dominate possession.

The four manors which comprised Mitcham in the Middle Ages remained sparsely populated but the parish became highly fashionable in the reign of Elizabeth I. Both the explorer, Walter Raleigh, and poet, John Donne, resided here for a time and the Monarch herself stayed in the area on five occasions.
Mitcham also became an important halting post on the route from London to Brighton and inns such as the King's Head, which survives today as the Burn Bullock, sprung up along the route.
It was the death knell for major horticultural enterprise in the area (Potter and Moore broke up in 1886) and Mitcham's rural atmosphere disappeared as the population doubled to 29,606 between 1900 and 1910.
