  NUMA1 - Nuclear mitotic apparatus protein 1
Nuclear Mitotic Apparatus protein (NuMA) is a 238-kDa protein of the nuclear matrix in interphase that relocates to the spindle poles in mitosis.
NuMA (Nuclear protein that associates with the Mitotic Apparatus) is a 235-kD intranuclear protein that accumulates at the pericentrosomal region of the mitotic spindle in vertebrate cells.
NuMA, a nuclear protein that associates with the mitotic apparatus, was identified in 1980 as a high molecular weight component of the nuclear matrix with the unusual property of associating with the microtubules of the spindle apparatus during mitosis.

 CLB2 - G2/mitotic-specific cyclin 2
Recent data in yeast demonstrated that a partial degradation of the mitotic cyclin Clb2, mediated by APC/C and its activator protein Cdc20, is essential and sufficient for the mitotic exit.
A mutation in Cdc28 (cdc28-1N) that interferes with Cks1 binding, or inactivation of Cks1 itself, confers stabilization of Clb2, the principal mitotic B-type cyclin in budding yeast.
Destruction of the anaphase inhibitor Pds1p is necessary for separation of sister chromatids, whereas destruction of the mitotic cyclin Clb2p is important for disassembly of the mitotic spindle, cytokinesis and re-replication of the genome.
