Miyanojo is where I danced in the summer festival when I first arrived.
Despite its size, Miyanojo has at least two 24 hour convenience stores, a huge supermarket/redemption arcade/department store/dollar store, a second huge grocery store, a very nice electronics store that deals in used games, a couple of restaurants, a bus terminal, and last but not least, several Pachinko parlors.
She really knows the roads a lot better than I do, so it was nice to not have to worry as much about navigation when I was driving.

In Miyanojo we ask directions to two boys.
They don't speak much English, but one of them has a Japanese-English dictionary in his watch (it's 1985!).
