Miyoshi (三芳村; -mura) is a village located in Awa District, Chiba, Japan.
As of 2003, the village has an estimated population of 4,689 and a density of 138.24 persons per km².
On March 20, 2006, the municipalities of Tomiura, Tomiyama, Miyoshi, Shirahama, Chikura, Maruyama and Wada (all from Awa District) merged to form the city of Minamiboso.

One final note to those unaware- though this is touted as part of the Sonny Chiba DVD Collection and he is displayed on the cover, Sonny's presence is really only an extended cameo.
Sure, it is a million times better than the old vhs, but it has some overscan/flagging error that will make it look pretty bad on more high end systems.
Of the films in Adness Sonny Chiba Collection (a must for martial film/Chiba fans), this belongs on the bottom of the list because of the lacking Chiba screentime and the quality of the film and DVD transfer.

Chiba turns in a credible supporting role as Hiroyuki Sanada steals each scene he is in.
Other than Hiroyuki, Chiba is the dominant character in G.I. Samurai and another noteworthy performance is that of Noriko Watanabe who in her debut role in Ninja Wars had to tackle three character roles.
So many Chiba disks are dubbed in English with no other options; I always enjoy Japanese films in Japanese.
