		Mob Quad is a four-sided group of buildings in Merton College, Oxford surrounding a small lawn.

		The word "mob", derived from the Latin mobile vulgus (the fickle crowd) does not appear in English until the late 17th century.

	Merton College, Oxford - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		It is claimed that Mob Quad, built in the 14th century, is the oldest quadrangle (or courtyard) of any Oxford or Cambridge college and set the pattern for collegiate architecture for future generations (though this claim is disputed by Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, who say their Old Court is older).
		The chapel was originally planned to be very large and to function both as a college chapel and as the parish church for that area of Oxford (the original church of John the Baptist was demolished to make way for Merton's dining hall).
		The chapel tower was finished in the 15th century and one side of the original stained glass, as well as the historic rose window, are still intact, providing the longest expanse of original medieval stained glass in Oxford.

		Quadding and taking all the mobs, running over people, "training" spots where other peeps are doing their thing-these are all things that make people hate druids (and other kiting classes, too, I know).
		On my server they quad right over your head to purposely get you to leave wiether you are a soloing class or group, hell you can be another druid, they don't want you there, yet they say it is your own fault for sitting in their "quad path ".

		From a cleric's point of view, a class that needs only 1-2 heals a mob vs a class that needs 3-4 heals against the same mob is not the same.
		High mr mobs are usual targets, those that do less than 1500 damage in 6 seconds (generally) are prime canidates.
		To support what Swampfunk said, I have quad and quintuple Frenzied on mobs in LDoN, but they had Rune and the damage was absorbed...it definately listed that I tried to Frenzy 4 or 5 times, for absorbed damage.

		One of the oldest tricks in the book, this is a spell that is centered on the mob casting it, and which hits every player character within a certain range.
		Often mistaken for a "frontal" AE, the Targeted AE is centered on whomever is the mob's current aggro target, and effects all targets in a radius, much like the wizard and druid's quad-kiting spells.
		It is expected that all melee be aware of the facing of the mob and be prepared to turn off attack if they are faced by the mob during enrage.

		Caster mobs are interesting - i've always wondered why wizard mobs try to cast a spell or two then come running to melee players.
		Mob spell selection is way better than in the old days - i used to love those shaman mobs chaincasting drowsy etc grins - but the wizard mobs do choose an odd selection of spells to cast (at lower levels, they seem very fond of gravity flux, elnerick's entombment and lures).
		When i'm soloing, wizard mobs are a favourite to kill in dungeon zones - i know i can nuke them to death with a couple of spells while they cast an odd selection of spells that i'll resist.

		And also in trials you are great because most trial mobs are not hard so you can sit there and solo a single mob while the others take another, or in some cases ae the mobs to do it quickly.
		I love to pull my pet off the MA mob and slam it on the mob that is on the cleric to save his ass.

		Kill mobs with the party you are in.
		Keep doing this until the mob is slowed, then you can probably switch CH to about 45% - 50% of health which is a pretty safe margin.
		Either way, the only way that mob is coming off them is if you as a cleric take agro from them, because the tank will have his hands full with whatever the group is actually killing.

		A few people go out and quad like this to gain exp atleast 4 times faster than everyone else and the rest of us who don't get punished for it again and again.
		I was happily soloing 1 spawn at a time (since I can't seem to get a group at level 55) and was doing as well as the full groups of 5 and 6 who were dominating the pillars of the pyramid.
		Now, as a Druid, I'd much rather see my quad kiting spells I never use go bye bye and be replaced by something more group friendly like more stuns, better healing, another DD line that's Magic or Cold based, anything that's alot more group friendly than these anti-social, spawn hog spells.

		We ran some tests and found that in the amount of time it took the necro to kill a mob the enchanter would have the mob down to 30%..
		In the same amount of time it took the necro to kill a mob, I was only able to get the mob down to 30% with the same pet.
		The poster suggested he didn't even notice if the enchanter pet quaded or not and it could just reflect that the necro is better at noticing quad hits then the enchanter was for whatever reason.
