Gundam Seed on the other hand, has clear opening and ending, and since the show is sort of shoujo the ending works, and the opening is upbeat enough for a show about Mobile Suits.
Speaking of which, neither G Gundam nor Gundam W have enough women for a "boys show" and because of this, I'm inclined to think the target audience is really young girls with a mobile suit fetish.
Gundam W has a plot quite similar to Gundam Seed, but instead of emphasizing the human element, they choose to spend a great portion of their time talking about unmanned Mobile Dolls.

Gundam Seed (GS) is a series that encompasses many of the characteristics of other anime in it's genre, mecha, (war-sci-fi-action-drama); love, hate, romance, friendship, loyalty, betrayal, and of course, combat are all found in the series.
Despite sharing the same characteristics of other anime in it's genre and sharing similar features of other Gundam series, the execution of GS, as well as a few twists and surprises along the way, is likely to satisfy the wants of any fan of the genre and fans of action and drama in general.

Let me be straightforward: the first Gundam series of the new millennium is not as good as it could have been, what with so many ideas, so many fresh new possibilities.
Gundam Seed is probably one of the prettier sides of war I've ever seen.
While Gundam Seed's wasted potential only manages to leave a sour taste in my mouth, I hope that future Gundam anime excel at anything except music and action.

Unlike the rest of the game's cut scenes, which have been animated in the same style as the show, the intro is full CG and it displays lots of robots beating the crap out of one another, lots of explosions, a fair amount of over acting, and a ghostly naked woman.
I can't tell because there are too many mobile suits on screen at once and the one directly in front of me is red and mine was clearly white and blue.
As a player, I want to press buttons and watch my mobile suit do cool stuff, but it weakly boosts, then is strafes, then it pops off a few rounds that fail to do much damage, then I do some corny looking special attack that totally misses the mark.

The Gundam suits can fly quickly with their thrusters, create combos while combating enemies up close, and fire projectiles at opponents from a distance.
You’ll occasionally be able to use one of your Gundam’s special attacks, one ranged and one for close up, but otherwise the sequence repeats continuously, essentially turning the game into a beat ’em up.
On a lighter note, the Gundam suits are animated fairly well, but overall the game’s graphics disappoint like just about everything else.

Gundam SEED is annoying, and lacks the flavor of some of the other Gundam series.
It's the basically the first Gundam series (as in "Mobile Suit Gundam") with prettier graphics and slightly dumber elements.
The first time I watched the Gundam SEED dub, I thought that Athrun's name was "Afrin".
