The first time I signed up for Mobistar (July 1998), there were only two mobile phone networks in Belgium, Proximus (the mobile network of Belgacom, the state-run PTO and now owned 25% by Vodafone) and Mobistar, a joint venture between France Télécom and Telinfo.
In conclusion Mobistar offers a comprehensive range of services, the prices are not too bad, and certainly comparable to the prices that seem the norm in Britain.
I will roam onto Mobistar when I go to Belgium in February again, and would probably opt for Mobistar again if I were to go back to Belgium, having an inherent distrust of anything to do with Belgacom.
