 Marvel Team-Up
Marvel Team-Up had a quality not found in most of today's comics, nearly every issue had a self-contained story.
A long running subplot was three issues long in MTU (unlike today's comics with multiple issue/title cross-overs, and Wolverine's long lost step-cousin secretly revealed in some shadow of a corner panel in an issue 20 years ago, returned for revenge, or crap like that).
Marvel Team-Up didn't dwell a lot on past events and therefore was the perfect title to introduce a comic novice to the Marvel Universe.
