	Kontronnik SMILE mode 7 - RC Groups
		I was trying to use Mode 7 so I could switch the leads back but the Kontronik directions leave something to be desired.
		In the other modes you move the throttle from low to high and the ESC responds with some beeps.
		Mode 7 worked fine for me, per the instructions.

		Wow, some of these posts make me feel so old. Mode 7 was a tool the snes used to scroll the screen around. Games like Actraiser were the first ones to use it along and I think NCAA basketball and a micro racing game for the snes made the most use of it.
		Mode 7, also known as "background scaling and rotation", was used in a lot of SNES games like F-Zero, Pilotwings, Wolfenstein 3D, the overhead levels in Contra 3 and in many other games.
		Mode 7 was in SNES games and Banjo Pilot for the GBA. It also seems to be a pirating group.
