Topic: Model 202 telephone

Model 202 telephone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Model 202 telephone was produced by Western Electric from 1930 through 1936.
The 202 was a modified version of the earlier 102 phone; the latter, introduced in 1928, was the first commonly available Bell System telephone to include the transmitter and receiver in a single handset.
The first Model 202 phones featured a handset which included a recessed area, known colloquially as a "spit cup," on the transmitter; this was eliminated about halfway through the phone's production run.

Model 500 telephone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Many millions of Model 500 phones were produced and were once a familiar sight in almost every home in America; huge numbers are still in use today thanks to their unparalleled durability and to their cheap prices and ample availability on the secondhand market.
Because the model 302 phones were not yet at the end of their life-cycle, in the mid 1950s, Western Electric manufactured a 500-style plastic shell to update the appearance of the 302 and called it the Model 5302.
Like all telephones of the time, Model 500 phones were owned by local Bell System telephone companies--all of which were in turn owned by ATandT, which also owned Western Electric itself--and leased on a monthly basis by customers.
