Model commercial vehicle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Like model cars, model commercial vehicles are sold both as kits for the enthusiast to construct and paint and as pre-built, pre-painted collectable models.
Model kits may be made in plastic, resin, metal (including white metal), and wood; collectables are usually made of die-cast metal and plastic.
Enthusiasts may pursue commercial vehicle modeling in its own right or as an adjunct to model railways, where the vehicles add verisimilitude to a layout (for example: trucks in a goods yard; buses at a station).

Model military vehicle - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A model military vehicle is a scale replica which represents a military vehicle -- tank or other armored fighting vehicle, artillery, truck (lorry), Jeep, etc. Main scales are 1/16, 1/35th and 1/48th, though many other scales have been used in production kits.
Vehicles of this time period are considered to be experimental for the most part and did not make major contributions to what few battles they took part in.
There is generally a lot of crossover of modellers between the eras, though some focus solely on a specific era, country of origin/operation, or even to a specific vehicle.

The excise tax on motor vehicles is a tax "for the privilege of operating a motor vehicle upon the public ways" and thus applies where the owner of the motor vehicle intends to register it for use on the public ways during the year.
A 1997 vehicle which was excised in 1996 will be excised at the second year rate in 1997, the 3rd year rate in 1998 and so on, as long as the person who excised it in 1996 continues to own it.
Beginning July 1, 1996 the annual excise tax on certain commercial vehicles (vehicles over 26,000 pounds and "special mobile equipment") is based on the initial purchase price of the commercial vehicle including accessories and equipment installed on that vehicle in the original year of title for commercial vehicles manufactured in model year 1996 and later.

A modeling approach was employed to develop an estimate of the demand for commercial vehicle parking spaces at public facilities (i.e., rest areas, weigh stations) and commercial facilities (e.g., truck stops and travel plazas, motels, fast food restaurants).
To calibrate the model, field surveys were conducted in four regions to count the number of parked commercial vehicles during the period of peak nighttime parking demand between 10:00 p.m.
The demand model described in the previous section of this document was used to estimate parking demand for corridors along the Interstate and non-Interstate portions of the NHS using procedures outlined in the technical guidance document.

Numerous model updating measures have ensured that the model year 2005 Sprinter is every bit as up-to-date as the van was at the start of its career in 1995.
The Sprinter was the first commercial vehicle by Mercedes-Benz to be given a name rather than a plain model designation consisting of letters and figures.
These vehicles are created in close cooperation with specialist body manufacturers, which means that the range is expanded with vans specifically suited to electricians, plumbing and heating engineers, fresh and frozen food transport companies and the construction sector, among others.

 Motor Vehicle Fees
For example, assume that vehicles of carrier “A” travel 80 percent of their miles in jurisdictions whose fee schedules are high and 20 percent of their miles in jurisdictions whose fees are low.
In contrast, carrier “B’s” vehicles travel the same jurisdictions, but 80 percent of their miles are in jurisdictions whose fees are low and only 20 percent are in jurisdictions whose fees are high.
Because of these variations, the cost of a prorate license cannot be calculated without information from carriers about the number of miles their vehicles travel in each jurisdiction as well as specific vehicle information such as the weight, model year and value of their vehicles.
