Mog (Final Fantasy VI) - Final Fantasy Wiki - a Wikia wiki
Mog is a playable character in Final Fantasy VI.
Mog has very little relevance to Final Fantasy VI's overall plot, seeing as he has no connection to the Espers, the Empire or the Returners.

Final Fantasy Odyssey | Final Fantasy VI > Characters: Mog
Mog is the only known Moogle in the world to actually speak alongside humans and has the ability to interact with them too.
Mog is a caring and friendly character, full of energy and has a good heart and spirit.
Mog is merely a very minor character in FFVI and doesn’t play a major role in the game but he is still a fan favorite and his dance skills in battle are fairly unique.

In Final Fantasy VI we get characters like Lone Wolf the thief and Siegfried the swordsman, who, rather like Flyingman in Shigesato Itoi's Mother, show up from time-to-time to provide something that could be called comic relief if we had some notion what on earth they were driving at.
Final Fantasy IX would take spiritually flawed, clumsy sweeps at the pure aspirations of the series' roots, and only Final Fantasy X would be able to save what was left of the former nobility.
Final Fantasy VI ends with a dirty, ruined world facing the light of hope, much like the folk-opera hero Porgy on his cart facing the sunrise of a new morning, heading boldly out to get that ungrateful woman who left him for a cocaine-dealer.

 About Final Fantasy 6
Final Fantasy VI is known as one of the greatest RPGs ever made.
In September of 1999, the Final Fantasy Anthology was released for the Sony Playstation, which is a bundle of Final Fantasy 5 and Final Fantasy VI.
The only drawback of the Final Fantasy Anthology is that it uses a form of emulation in order for you to play these SNES games on the PSX, which causes the games to run slower than usual.

 Final Fantasy VI
Its flexible gameplay is second only to Final Fantasy V, its non-linearity leaves a lot of room for exploration and discovery, and its story and cast of characters reaches a whole new level of quality.
Final Fantasy VI introduced for the first time mature themes that were never before present in console RPGs: Suicide, teenage pregnancy, complicated moral problems, love, etc. Even the characteristic subject of losing loved ones got a whole new dimension here, with characters responding much more profoundly and realistically to their loss.
Final Fantasy VI underwent a decisive change of style: while maintaning the epic outlines of the story, it went deeper into the hearts of its heroes, discovering and showing a wide range of human emotions.

Review of the game Final Fantasy III
Important for later development of Final Fantasy is the fact this is the first Final Fantasy story that integrates the Espers (which are actually monster summons from previous games) into it and even places them at a central point of the events.
"Final Fantasy VI" introduced for the first time mature themes that were never before treated in console RPGs: suicide, teenage pregnancy, complicated moral problems, love, etc. Even the characteristic subject of losing loved ones got a whole new dimension here, with characters responding much more profoundly and realistically to their loss.
Later Final Fantasies, with all their originality and new ideas, were all heavily influenced by this game, and owe it quite a great deal.

Bata-kun no Uchi - "Final Fantasy VI"
"Final Fantasy VI" has been considered to be the game of the series that majority of its fans like the most.
First off, if you're wondering why this series has always been called "Final Fantasy" even though that there is no "final" game up to this point, the reason is because back when the first game was released in 1987, Squaresoft was in financial trouble.
This is the last game of the series not only to get a number change, but also the last Final Fantasy game with a number to be released on a Nintendo system.

Final Fantasy VI Original Sound Version : SoundtrackCentral.com
The Final Fantasy series has certainly had its recent ups and downs, but without a doubt in my mind, the sixth installment is the pinnacle of FF music, and indeed game music thus far.
Final Fantasy VI's Battle Theme is neither pulse-pounding, nor at all melodic, nor compelling, nor focused.
All the characters themes are reprised (in a film score end title manner), and after a heavenly treatment from the beautiful Final Fantasy theme, the piece ends in a spectacular climax that it surpasses all of the other Final Fantasy ending themes (including FF IV).
