As noted in previous communique written by this author, late Iranian poet laureate Mohammad Taghi Bahar (MTB) composed many masterpieces and he has been considered as one of the greatest scholar and cultural figures of Iran.
Some of the poetical masterpieces composed by MTB can be viewed in the Poetry House of Mohammad Taghi Bahar.
In this article the English translations of the most famous Poetical Touchstones of MTB as selected by this author would be cited and the references to the Persian versions of the corresponding verses would be introduced.

The rapturous praise of Hejazi's style and sentiments by Mohammad-Taghi Bahar, the major poet of Persia since the bazgasht-e adabi (q.v.), reflects the appreciation accorded him before Persian intellectuals became polarized by the spread of communism among them and the advent of the Tudeh party.
Taghi Modarresi's (1932-97) first novel Yakolya va Tanha i-e U (Yakolya and Her Loneliness, 1956) revolves around the forbidden love of Yakolya, the fictive daughter of an Old Testament king of Israel, for her father's shepherd.
