The palace of Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil and his wife was built in 1915.
Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil also helped to enhance the cultural exchange between Egypt and France in the first half of the 20th century.
Khalil was born in Cairo in 1877 and died in Paris on 31st December 1953.
