This county is bounded on the north by the Gila river; on the east by New Mexico; on the south by Sonora, and on the west by Yuma county.
The western end of the county, to a line drawn north and south from the Gila river to the Sonora line, and passing a few miles west of Tucson, is uninhabited after leaving the Gila river, except by the Papago Indians, whose habitation will hereafter be described.
The county south of the Gila and east of that heretofore mentioned, is watered by the San Pedro and Santa Cruz rivers and several smaller streams, and is composed of plains, valleys and broken chains of mountains.

The elections director of Mohave County, Arizona, was so proud of his new electronic voting system that Bev Harris barely had the heart to point out its vulnerabilities.
Harris's visit to Mohave County was part of a monthlong trip in which she and her deputy, Andy Stephenson, traveled to 10 states, investigating flaws in electronic voting and giving on-the-fly computer security tutorials.
More recently, Harris caused waves in King County, Washington, her home county, when she revealed that one of the main designers of its elections management computer system was a convicted felon, who had embezzled $465,361 from a Seattle law firm.

Hardyville was the first county seat, then Mineral Park until 1887 when the seat was moved to Kingman where it has remained.

A request by a Safford television concern for a franchise from the Mohave County Board of Supervisors and the Kingman City Council to install a community TV service here has been opposed by a local company which has announced plans to provide a TV signal for both Kingman and Needles, Calif.
The vaccine arrived Tuesday noon by refrigerated truck and was deliver direct to the Mohave General Hospital to be kept under refrigeration until Monday morning, April 25th.

 Geologic Map of Pipe Spring National Monument and the Western Kaibab-Paiute Indian Reservation, Mohave County, Arizona
Sandy Canyon Wash, Bitter Seeps Wash, and Bulrush Wash are the principal drainages in the map area that flow south into Kanab Creek, the principal drainage of this region that flows south toward the Colorado River in Grand Canyon.
Access to the map area is by Arizona State Highway 389 and a short paved road to Pipe Spring National Monument and the towns of Kaibab and Moccasin, Arizona.
