However, Molson is intent on retaining its link to a team that has won 24 NHL titles and produced such hockey greats as Maurice Richard, Jean Beliveau, Jacques Plante and Guy Lafleur.

The Bell Centre (French: Centre Bell), formerly known as the Molson Centre, has been the home of the Montréal Canadiens since March 16, 1996, when the team departed from the historic Montréal Forum after their last game on March 11 of the same year.
The name of the arena initially reflected Molson, Inc., a brewing company which owns a large share of the Canadiens.
In addition to hockey, the Bell Centre also hosts a number of other events throughout the year including concerts, boxing, professional wrestling, and more.

Molson shareholders approved the deal Jan. 28 and Coors shareholders backed the plan on Feb. 1.
George Gillett acquired the Montreal Canadiens and all of the team's arena, the Molson Centre, from Molson Inc. for C$190 million ($126.4 million) in cash.

I have been to the Molson Centre several times, for both Montreal Canadiens hockey and for several concerts, most recently for the game I attended just last night, a NHL matchup between the Canadiens and the Buffalo Sabres.
There is basically no signage to find the Molson Centre once you are in the city, so be prepared with a map and a plan before you leave (For the brave of you wanting to try to find it on your own - the Molson Centre is right near the tallest buildings in the city.
And, as is in the Molson Centre, most denizens of Montreal are bilingual (some more) speaking at least French and English.

Asked in an interview today what the chances are that the Express will return to Molson Centre for the 2003 season, Brad Watters, head of the team's ownership group, said, "I don't think it looks great."
The Express drew an average announced home crowd of 7,969 to Molson Centre in its debut season, but many tickets were distributed free, pushing paid attendance figures considerably lower.
Watters will participate in a conference call tomorrow with the league's other governors, at which time he is expected to declare his team's intentions.
