		Exile groups announced yesterday that they have finished a new and better drafted federal constitution for the Real Union of Burma that does not allow for the separation of any ethnic group from the country, said Dr. Lain H. Sakhong, the spokesperson of the federal constitution seminar.
		The drafted constitution was adopted by 101 delegates from 59 organizations of democratic forces, political forces of the various ethnic nationalities, Member of Parliament-elect (MP) of the 1990 elections, women, youth and the grassroots in a three-day seminar held on April 6 to 8 near the Thai-Burma border.
		According to Dr. Lian H Sakong, the new draft constitution must be explained to all the ethnic nationalities and the entire people in the whole union and the international community.

	Burma/Mon News
		The ethnic armed group the Karen National Union (KNU) released a statement yesterday welcoming the UNSC decision.
		Another ethnic armed group the Karenni National Progressive Party (KNPP) and the Mon Unity League (Mon ethnic political group) also welcomed and supported the decision.
		The Mon Unity League (Mon ethnic political group) also thanked the UN Security Council for the decision and said the UNSC has made the right decision to discuss the Burma issue.
