Moncton (46°6′ N 64°46′ W) is the second largest city in the Canadian province of New Brunswick and is at the heart of the fastest growing urban area in the province.
Moncton is located in southeastern New Brunswick in the Petitcodiac River valley, along the north bank of the river at a point where it bends from a west-east flow to a north-south direction.
Moncton's economic depression did not last long and a second era of prosperity came to the area when Moncton was selected to be the headquarters of the Intercolonial Railway of Canada in 1871.

The fair market values of the Moncton North School and the Miramichi Youth Centre total approximately $30 million which is the approximate amount of the asset and related debt not recorded by the Province.
It is also our opinion that the Moncton North (Evergreen Park) School lease and the Miramichi Youth Centre lease should be accounted for as capital leases, not as operating leases which is the present classification in the accounts of the Province.

Other than the busy TransCanada highway #20 (boring 4 lane), this is the 2nd most travelled route between these 2 cities.(on the south side) On the north side of the St Lawrence the same scenario exists (highway #40 and rural 148).
I figured from Quebec we'd go up the north side, cross by ferry at St. Simeon and then loop around the Gaspe Penninsula, dropping back downto Moncton.
Going the way you are, perhaps you could turn right at 299 and then left back down(up?) the peninsula back to where you started.
