  Mongolian Deathworm
It is described as a fat, bright red snakelike animal measuring two to four feet in length, which is vividly likened to a cow's intestine.
The foremost investigator of the Mongolian death worm is Czech author Ivan Mackerle, who first learned about the creature from a female student from Mongolia.
Mackerle and his colleagues befriended some Mongolian nomads who were willing to discuss the death worm, after a couple of bottles of Mongolian vodka loosened their tongues.

I was reading this story about the recent trip by a team of people who went on a trip to Mongolia to find the Death Worm, also known as Allghoi khorkhoi (which seems to translate to “intestine worm.”) They documented their trip (with some photos) on their blog Cryptoworld.
We believe the Allghoi Khorkhoi (Deathworm) definitely exists and is probably a new species of worm-lizard or possibly a snake similar to a sand-boa.
Although the current Mongolian Death Worm expedition is over, i’m eager to see them continue the Cryptoworld blog, as it looks fantastic.

The Mongolian Death Worm is a snakelike creature reported to exist in the Gobi Desert.
The local name is "allghoi khorkhoi" which means "intestine worm," because it is reported to look like the intestine of a cow.
There are a number of extraordinary claims by Mongolian locals (such as the ability of the worm to spew forth poison that is lethal on contact, and its purported ability to kill at a distance), but no scientifically reliable sightings.

It is also called the "intestine worm" because of how it looks, but this nickname causes it to be easily confused with intestinal worms, internal parasites such as the tapeworm that really exist and are not of interest to cryptozoology.
The Mongolian death worm is not an internal parasite.
Since then, all attempts to prove the existence of the Mongolian death worm have been unsuccessful, though eyewitness accounts are numerous enough and relatively consistent.

Many Mongolian people believe the creature carries some kind of poision or electrical charge which enables it to survive and attack from great distances.
