| | BREEDS & BREEDING - Texas Officials Arrest Woman Accused of Dog-BREEDING Scam |
 | | In rural Potter County, Texas, Monica Arnold, a woman accused in Suffolk of promising puppies to people, taking their deposits and then leaving town, was captured Thursday evening driving a U-Haul truck filled with 47 dogs and two cats. |
 | | Arnold, 35, was stopped near the Amarillo city limits by a Potter County sheriff's deputy for failing to signal a left turn, said Capt. Russell Wheeler. |
 | | There were no criminal charges involved, but two months before that court appearance Arnold claimed that somebody had shot two of her Labrador retrievers, one of which was a constant companion to one of her children, who Arnold said had cancer. |
