Our previous 900mhz monitor was only used for a week due to hearing our neighbors’ conversations via their baby monitor and not our child so little one slept with us so we could keep and eye on him.
I've also read that some babies move off the monitor pad in the middle of the night-- we have found that placing our son the opposite way in his crib causes him to wriggle his feet to the top of his crib until his feet are against the bumper.
Without this monitor there is no way we would ever be able to sleep at night knowing that our daughter had stopped breathing in the past, to the point of visibly turning blue, even though, after treatment, she has not had an episode in 4 months.
