	The Curse of Monkey Island: PIB PC Game Review
		As is traditional with the Monkey Island games, this is relatively light-weight adventure game with plenty of humour.
		Sometimes silly things help though I think that this game could use a few more pointer to puzzle solutions when you are in normal mode.
		Monkey Island 1 is "Don't pay more than $20 for a computer game." Well, this game does cost a bit more than that in the stores at the moment, but it is worth having for the entertainment value.

	UHS: Escape from Monkey Island Review
		As you may remember, previous Monkey Island games have had "swordfighting" sequences where you won by collecting insults and responses to use against your opponents.
		The problem with Monkey Kombat is that you have to do a lot of fighting to learn the moves you need from your opponents, and to make things worse, the combinations change randomly from game to game.
		It's not the best Monkey Island, and it's probably not the best way to start the series -- especially since Curse of Monkey Island (the third title) is still available as a discount title.

		Some people believe the inspiration for Monkey Island came from the Pirates of the Caribbean ride - probably because I said it several times during interviews - but that was really just for the ambiance.
		In gilbert's example, monkey island may be competitvely "dumbed down", but it's much more sophisticated in terms of interactive narrative then you're average game.
		Now what i don't understand is that if a person, or company or whatever has a strong working formula like they had with Guybrush and the world of monkey Island, with it's colourful hand painted background, insane animation (more refering to the third game) and the funnist gags....
