Monta Vista's teams are the Matadors, though quite a bit of the Monta Vista apparel has a bull on it, which would seem to me to be the enemy of the Matador, but maybe I am missing the point.
Nancy also went to Monta Vista and it is quite possible that we had a class together.

As for the Monta Vista in cupertino, i mean no harm i was just kidding, i know nothing of your school, someone told me a while ago that it was one of the best in the country too.
Actually, the Monta Vista mascot is the bull, or as it's officially called, "El Toro." The hilarious thing is, Monta Vista means Mountain View in Portuguese, but "el toro" is Spanish, so we have pretty much mass confusion in that regard.

There is a whole campaign going at school about writing letters to WSJ and criticizing the article.
I think that author came to school with a preset agenda as a result it is very one-sided article that lacks depth, has poor writing style, and chooses poorly selected examples.
