The Monte Carlo Rally (officially Rallye Automobile Monte Carlo) is a rally racing event organized each year by the Automobile Club de Monaco who also organize the F1 Grand Prix of Monaco and the Monaco Kart Cup.
From its inception in 1911 by Prince Albert I, this rally, under difficult and demanding conditions, was an important means of testing the latest improvements and innovations to automobiles.
This rally features what is possibly the most famous rally stage in the world.

The 7th Historical Rally of Monte Carlo will be held from January 30 to February 4, featuring some 350 cars with models from 1955 to 1977.
While the principality of Monaco is hardly a refugee hotspot, it is the site of the 7th Historical Rally of Monte-Carlo through which UNHCR hopes to promote awareness and raise funds for its refugee operations around the world.
