The Monterey Peninsula Airport District is accused by a former employee of violating state public records law by destroying all copies of a district-commissioned personnel survey.
The Monterey County District Attorney's Office, also, is looking into the fate of the 2005 report compiled by an airport district consultant, in response to a complaint lodged last week by a candidate for the district board of directors.
Airport district officials have said the report was compiled to assist district directors in their evaluation of General Manager Tom Greer's job performance.
