Moor Park is a private residentil estate in the Three Rivers district of Hertfordshire.
It takes its name from Moor Park, a country house which was originally built in 1678–9 for James, Duke of Monmouth, and was reconstructed in the Palladian style circa 1720 by Giacomo Leoni.
Moor Park has large Jewish and Asian communities, and many homeowers commute to London via Moor Park tube station on the Metropolitan Line of the London Underground.

Taking its name from a drift through the Bushmans River used by transport wagons on their way from Port Natal to the goldfields of the Witwatersrand, Wagendrift reserve near Estcourt is a 980 hectare protected area which incorperates Moor Park reserve and surrounds Wagendrift dam.
Species of fish commonly caught in the dam are scaly, bluegill, bass, carp, eel and the occasional trout.

The clubhouse, a 17th Century Mansion House, looks magnificent for a start and we seemed to be treated like guests in a hotel so full marks to the staff and very friendly members.
The fairways at Moor Park are well defined and the tees were in great condition too although there didn't seem to be much variation on them, just large rectangular mounds with tees at the front middle and back.
