  Gouverneur Morris
Morris was one of Pennsylvania's representatives in the constitutional convention of 1787, and took an active part in the debates.
As early as 1801 Morris became interested in projects for improving the communication between the Hudson river and Lake Erie, and from 1810 to 1816 he was chairman of the board of canal commissioners, which after exploring the country prepared plans for the Erie Canal.
His half-brother, Lewis Morris (1726-1798), a signer of the Declaration of Independence, was educated at Yale, served in the Continental Congress from 1775 until early in 1777, and went on a mission to the western frontier in 1775 to win over the Indians from the British to the American side.

This was the seating for the entry-level 1800, which are very basic.
In actual fact, the seat frame and padding were identical for all trim levels, even the Wolseley, and later, HLS, except they had wider seat backs to accommodate the centre armrests; only the outer material and pattern designs were different.

This, their first effort dating from 1959, was effectively a scaled-up version of their contemporary proposal for the XC9002 project.
By 1960, the decision had been taken to promote the car to the 1800 class, and the project was renamed XC9005.
This new Pininfarina proposal from June 1960 is quite close to the design that was finally signed-off, although its front-end styling was thought to be too similar to that of the forthcoming Morris 1100 (ADO16).

The Minor was replaced at the 1934 London Motor Show by the Morris Eight, a direct response to the Ford Model Y and heavily based on it.
The Morris marque was used until the early 1980s on cars such as the Morris Marina.

Problem there, as with the 1800 you had, is that the heat doesnt dissipate when the fan and coolant stop when you turn it off.
