The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Review
Morrowind's battle system is fully real-time, every action you make is because your finger pressed one or another button.
The game's story is interesting, with a whole world of unique history and a mysterious plot line, the game is sure to hold the interest of player's finding their way through the main game (yes, there is a main storyline, despite the fact that the game is made up primarily by side-quests).
In Morrowind, the story unfolds in a much more discreet manner, with more of a dungeon-crawl feel for a lot of the quests.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The game environment of Morrowind is huge and richly detailed, with real-time weather effects and a landscape in which all areas are accessible.
Morrowind has no fight between good and evil, but rather its own philosophy of change and stability, of political and cultural transformation and evolution within the world and some ideas put forward being very interesting on their own.
Morrowind is well known for its ability to be changed by plugins (often called mods by users) using the Elder Scrolls Construction Set, which comes with the PC version of the game.

Morrowind Architecture - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Redoran architecture is found primarily in the Ashlands Region of Western Vvardenfell, and is so named for House Redoran, one of the three main political factions on Vvardenfell.
This architecture is made up of buildings carved out of the carapaces of now extinct giant crustaceans; an effective measure against the sandstorms that regularly occur.
Velothi architecture is usually proscribed to the Tribunal Temple, the major religion in Morrowind, though the style has historical contexts that extend far into the past.

The Entertainment Depot - PC / Mac / Console Gaming : PC - Reviews - The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
As a result, Morrowind enables your character to level up by doing what he or she does best, be it stealing, casting magic, or killing monsters - or, alternatively, by purchasing skill training from various individuals located in various guilds and across the land.
However, it should be noted from the outset that Morrowind's scope is drastically different from its predecessors; in fact, a number of changes have been made to the series' core gameplay, most of which change the overall experience considerably - some for the better, some for the worse.
The switch from limitless quests and terrain to a finite (though still absolutely enormous) amount is a bit jarring after six years of living with Daggerfall's charms, but once you get used to the changes, you come to appreciate them and enjoy them every bit as much as you did their predecessor.

The Elderscrolls III: Bloodmoon - Windows PC review
While it allows for a lot of exploration, a whole new level of gameplay and offers and engaging story and interesting quests, this title appears to be a little rushed and not as tightly constructed as its predecessors.
Morrowind was no stranger to crashes, and its hardware requirements are legendary.
Tribunal was closely related to Morrowind, both in the terms of their history and culture.

"The Next Level" - Game Review - Morrowind
Morrowind, however, wasn't done there when it came to innovation or surprises.
In Morrowind you can be exactly what you want to be - thief, rogue, bandit, fighter, knight, mage - and you can have whatever attitude you want about it.
Morrowind has mountains, seas, oceans, islands, deserts, sandstorms, rain, snow, and everything else that you'd expect on a large continent.

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Tribunal - PC Review
In the case you didn't install some of the latest Morrowind patches, you will be treated to a slide bar that will allow you to adjust the game's difficulty.
Whereas Morrowind was still exciting for my Assassin when he went to Mournhold, I ended up hacking, slashing and frying countless low-level monsters with my knight and mage, only to advance to a level where I could successfully complete Tribunal.
Even the lowest class of goblins was as tough as some of the nastiest monsters in Morrowind, and the goblin leaders were stronger than anything I encountered in the previous game.

Morrowind was released with a decent amount of hype and fanfare, and it easily lives up to most of what everyone has heard about the game.
Morrowind does have a bit of a limited number of graphics tweaks and features to mess with, as the only easy ways to increase performance on lower-end systems are to change to lower resolution video modes or reduce drawing distance.
Morrowind's game interface is fairly intuitive, and since the game is a bit of a hybrid of RPG and action games, the interface pretty much has to be slick.

Morrowind is more than just a fine piece of meat for the dining table, it's a side of beef you may never finish eating.
Morrowind gives you the feeling that the world would get along just fine without you, unlike most single player RPG's that tell the player that they are the best thing since sliced bread from the moment you build your character (the first 10 minutes of Neverwinter Nights is a good example).
The quest architecture of the game has some annoyances as there are many of the 'go here and get this and bring it back' type of conundrums, however, there are so many missions in the game that you'll probably never finish or even find them all.

The architecture and lighting is dark and otherworldly, they often are filled with killer creatures, and many of them have these incredibly huge statues dominating the center room.
It is Morrowind's version of the Statue of Liberty and resides on the Southeastern coast of Vvardenfell.
As Morrowind progresses toward its release, which is widely projected to occur during the first quarter of this year, the level of anticipation among RPG fans and gamers in general continues to build, in large part because more and more information is available to attract their interest.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Review Part 1 > Features
Like Morrowind, Oblivion is absolutely humongous, with a world that can take hours to get from one place to another (if you don’t make use of faster modes of transportation).
The actual combat engine of Morrowind was pretty simplistic, and while Bethesda has made an admirable attempt to infuse Oblivion’s combat with more depth (in the form of a new blocking system), it’s still a pretty simplistic affair.
Finally, Morrowind’s character models often looked quite ugly, and animated poorly, and that seems to be the case fairly often in Oblivion as well.

 Destination: Morrowind
Upon entering the city of Pelagiad, one would hardly know that one was in the heart of Morrowind.
Located at the top of the city is the large, imposing Imperial fort offering protection for the town's residents as well as a garrison for Imperial troops.
Pelagiad is beyond the reach of most of the ash storms that plague areas closer to the volcano, and thus visitors will delight in the grassy green lushness of the town as a welcome change to drab desert environments.

Morrowind from Bethesda - A Game Monkeys Review!
The architecture is distinctive enough to make me note architecture in a video game, and that's saying something.
It essentially goes like this- you were ordered to the Island of Morrowind by the Emperor, and released from prison to do so.
You get to Morrowind and find out that some wacky cult is stirring up rumors about overthrowing the Empire's rule on the island.

Into Liquid Sky - Game Reviews
While the environments are large and the architecture is well designed, the game doesn't really seem to take advantage of the Xbox's power to make the little graphical details seem more polished.
The Bad: Morrowind is plagued with being so large and vast in scope that the graphics engine seems to be a little overtaxed.
Morrowind is a wonderfully huge experience that will take dedicated gamers some time to finish.

The Architecture of Virtual Cities - GameDev.Net Discussion Forums
Architecture in a game, more or less defines the identity and culture of the environment the player is in.
However sometimes architecture is more pratically designed from a gameplay experience to the detriment of realism although again taking Ironforge as an example this is designed to clearly set a theme and player response even if it means players have to travel much further to do anything.
Although i am interested in the creation of architecture, it must not be a primary focus and distract from the gameplay, but add as 'Adriac' stated to the overall immersion and interaction of the gameplay.
