MOS Burger was the brainchild of Satoshi Sakurada.
The one for the winter menu was the Sautéed Kinoko Burger — a patty of beef on crisp lettuce topped with a thin wedge of pumpkin, mushrooms sautéed in a splash of red wine sauce and all of this topped with a dollop of mild white wasabi.
The Almond Chicken Burger was rolled out on March 2003, and the Half Chicken and Roast Pork (served on what is billed as "graham bread") on April 24.

Sometimes it is depressing to live in Canada.
I was not crazy about MOS Burger during the co-op days, but there was no MOS Burger nearby, let alone a Green MOS Burger.
Next time you visit Japan, locate a Green MOS Burger ahead of time and make a trip to try their Takumi cheeseburger.

Even the fries at Mos are divine, but served in a characteristically teeny tiny Japanese sized portion (I'm talking maybe a dozen fries in the small size).
If all the MOS Burgers in the world fell off the planet, I wouldn't be affected foodwise.
Mos Burger is one of the easiest/fastest options for mixed company vegetarian and carnivore outings.

This rice burger is made up of thinly sliced beef that has been stir-fried with bell peppers and onions (I think) and served on compressed "rice buns" with lettuce.
MOS burger is my "fast food" of choice if I'm pressed for time.
I prefer their Teriyaki Burger to the rice burger because the rice bun always disintegrate in my hands, burger bun is less messy.
