Moses and Samuel Teas, either in partnership or individually, had two, one of which was situated on Elm street at the south side of Limestone run, and the other on the opposite side of that stream a little farther south.
E. Calvin's Foundry and Machine Shop was first placed in operation in 1843 by Joseph Sassaman, from whom it was purchased in 1885 by the present proprietor.

BIRD, SHARPLESS E., long connected with the St. James Hotel, in Mansfield, was born on the 20th of December, 1844; his father and mother, William and Jane (Sharpless) Bird are residents of this city.
CLAPP, EMILIUS, wine merchant; Emeliua Clapp is the descendant, in the seventh generation, of Roger Clapp, who came to this country from England in 1630, settling in Dorchester, Mass.; here he married Miss Joanna Ford, daughter of Thomas Ford, of Dorchester, England, who, with her parents, came over in the ship with himself.
De CAMP, MOSES (deceased); was born in Washington Co., Penn., Oct. 10, 1816, and was of French Protestant descent.

 Jacobus' Genealogy of Edward Wooster
Moses Wooster, of Derby, born about 1701, died prior to 5 October 1741, when administration on his estate was granted to his widow Mary, who was appointed guardian to the six younger children.
This (the younger) Moses appears to be the one in Columbia County in 1810, by which time his father must have been dead.
Moses Wooster, (twin), born 21 December 1758; served in Captain Dickinson's company, Continental Regiment, in 1776; enlisted in 1777 for three years; taken prisoner 16 January 1780; discharged 19 December 1780; detached from "Conn. Line" to serve in Armand's cavalry in November 1781.

Rigaud, their devoted and veteran servant, has again gone upon the continent to spend a long time in the cause; and it is refreshing to see with what regularity their agents in England lecture from place to place almost every day.
Messrs Clapp and Burritt from this country seem every where to be received with favor as advocates of peace.

In October 1912, a few weeks before the presidential election, a special Senate investigating committee headed by Moses E. Clapp, a Republican from Minnesota, held hearings on the matter.
Nothing substantial was found, but press attention to the issue was not helpful to Roosevelt’s campaign.
